First born, only daughter in an Italian-Slovak Catholic family!Need I say more! Celebrations have always been a big deal in my family. Everyone came together  to celebrate holidays, religious rites, graduations, birthdays, and anniversaries… you name it. DO NOT miss Sunday dinner in an Italian family!  Regardless of the occasion, everything was a production!

From an early age, my Italian grandmother enlisted me to help her cook, bake, decorate the table and serve. As the only daughter in an Italian family, that was my role.  I came to love the rituals, foods, and decorations that marked the various holidays and events. My grandmother soon started a small catering business and I worked my way up that ladder by first being allowed to wash pots and pan, then actually allowed to be at the buffet!  This is what got me hooked…those darn Fire Hall Weddings!

 After graduating from Penn State with a degree in counseling, I worked for a large non-profit. Every time there was a special activity or event, I was called upon to assist in the development and implementation. This gave me the opportunity to use my skills developed  from work  in Theater Arts. Soon, I was the community liaison which provided me opportunities for team building, building resources and relationships. When the agency    started fundraising, I became the Coordinator of Special Events planning events such as golf outings, Dinner galas, Anniversary events, Client Appreciation events, Board dinners. In my free time, I was always volunteering to work high profile special events, attended seminars and trainings for special event planning and assisted other Event planners when they needed another “set of hands”.

My position was eliminated and I wrestled with what to !  I  am a member and Board Director of the International Special Events Society, a Pittsburgh Ambassador  and a member of Business Network International-Circle of Excellence. I had a healthy network of contacts and a wealth of knowledge and skills.

I knew I needed to be around energetic, creative and positive people.  The choice for me was right in front of my face only I could not see it!  Then the light bulb came on and I  launched Paulette Zanotti Events, LLC.

It gives me immense satisfaction to create memorable events that help someone’s dream come true!

However, my PZ Event Tool Box includes a variety of special of services that enhance the visibility and credibility of my client businesses. I have developed strong relationships with key individuals who can help me position my clients to better implement strategies to acquire more customer and clients and thus improve their bottom line.

I specialize in the “Unexpected Events”!  This may include providing support for funerals, last minute showers and weddings. You have everything planned for your event but who is going to be there that day to run the event? Forgot about that?  I provide on-site day of facilitation! Why work your party when you can enjoy it!
